Cam Clay
President

Cam started in the insurance industry in 1996 at Clay Robinson Ltd. To grow his knowledge base and experience, he worked in all sides of the brokerage including sales, customer service, underwriting and management. From 1996 to 2004, Cam was a shareholder of both Clay Robinson Ltd. and Grey Power Insurance Brokers(SA) Inc. as well a shareholder in West Coast Insurance Group.
In 2004, Cam incorporated Westland Insurance and started the business with a solid foundation by purchasing a book of VIP business from Johnson Inc. (formerly Clay Robinson). Cam has continued to grow Westland Insurance by purchasing the Quigley Hunt Group Insurance Services in September of 2005 followed by Kelbrad Insurance Brokers Ltd. in February of 2009. Throughout this period, Cam has enjoyed growing Westland Insurance while continuing to serve clients who have been with the Clay family for over 30 years.
Cam is a devoted husband and the father of three wonderful children. Along with his family, Cam loves the outdoors; skiing in the winter and boating in the summer. He is also firmly committed to supporting communities and his home town of Calgary.
Ron McLintock
Vice President / Commercial Broker

Ron started his insurance career in Glasgow, Scotland with the Commercial Union Insurance Company in 1963. After emigrating to Canada in 1966, he became a commercial lines underwriter, eventually becoming the commercial lines manager at Royal Insurance Company.
He joined Westland Insurance in July 2004 taking on the responsibility of Vice President and Commercial Broker. Ron is committed to his clients who trust Westland to offer the proper insurance, and the appropriate assistance when they have a claim.
Ron is a lifelong musician who has played the guitar in many party bands. He enjoys spending time with his daughter and travelling to warmer climates.
Susan Adams

Susan started her insurance career in 1982 at her family owned insurance brokerage in London, Ontario. Together with her family, she worked in all aspects of the brokerage eventually taking over the day-to-day operations in 1985. The family brokerage is where Susan’s aptitude for administration, management and accountability in an insurance brokerage was developed and perfected. The family brokerage was sold in 1992 when Susan married and moved to Toronto.
Most recently, Susan was the Personal Insurance Manager for a local insurance company where she was a high net worth insurance specialist. She managed and serviced a large Chubb Clientele and she grew to love working amongst Calgary’s Elite Business Executives, their wives and their assistants. She hopes to continue offering her expertise to our Chubb Clients.
Susan is German speaking and especially enjoys conversing with German clients in their native tongue……. We never know what she is saying!!!
Susan is married with two children aged 17 and 13 and one beloved Bichon Frise!!….. She loves spending time travelling with them to “warmer climates” and our Western Mountains in the summertime.
Deb Jepp

Deb began her insurance career in 1986. She joined the Clay family in 1992 and has been at Westland since 2004. She has worked as a personal lines broker and currently, she is pleased to manage the Westland Insurance office. Deb holds a CAIB insurance designation.
Deb, who was born and raised in Calgary, enjoys spending time with her three granddaughters. Deb loves to travel especially via motorcycle or to warm climates like Hawaii.
Grant Hansen

Grant has the insurance industry in his blood, having started his career in his father’s insurance agency at an early age. For the past 16 years, Grant has been a broker working in commercial insurance. In 2009, he joined the team at Westland Insurance. Here, he shares our passion for delivering satisfaction to clients while building long-lasting business relationships.
Outside work, Grant enjoys woodworking and football as well as spending time with his wife and their dog and cat.
Carmen Ford

Carmen began her career in the insurance industry 35 years ago, earning her license in 1977. She has been happily employed by the Clay family and Westland Insurance since 1990. Currently she works as a Commercial Assistant and is proud to deliver efficient service to Westland’s loyal commercial clients.
Carmen lives in Calgary with her husband and family of dogs. She loves spending time outside – gardening in the spring and summer, and skating in the winter.
Lisa Stewart

Lisa started out in the insurance business in 1995 before obtaining her license in 1999. Having worked at several other brokerages, Lisa joined Westland Insurance in 2009 where she currently works as a Personal Lines Broker. In this role, she looks forward to surpassing clients’ expectations everyday.
Outside work, Lisa is a busy mom with three children and three dogs. She and her husband enjoy walking and relaxing in the swimming pool.

Lucille Jakubowski, a broker in Calgary for almost 16 years, joined Westland Insurance in 2010. She enjoys our supportive work place which allows her to focus on best serving clients from those just starting out to executives and retirees with custom homes and special assets. Lucille holds two broker designations – the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) .
Lucille grew up in Saskatchewan, moved to Manitoba and has lived in Calgary since 1992. She loves travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Wendy Andrusyshyn

Wendy has been working for the Clay family for 26 years. She began as a receptionist and then took on other roles including commercial assistant, branch manager and customer service representative.
Currently, Wendy is a Personal Lines Broker who enjoys working with VIP clients and building strong relationships with them as she guides them through the process of protecting their hard-earned assets
Wendy is a mother of two children and spends most of her time in the beautiful countryside of Priddis outside Calgary.

Amy entered the insurance industry in 1985. She worked for a Calgary brokerage for many years where she enjoyed talking to her clients and making them feel important. After taking a break to raise her family, she re-entered the work force three years ago and joined Westland Insurance in 2011. Amy is happy to be part of the Westland team where she has an opportunity to show her commitment to clients by offering personalized service.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 daughters and 2 cats. She also loves camping, but escaping the cold is always a must once winter hits.

Arna has worked in the insurance industry since 1987. During that time she has worked primarily in the personal lines department undertaking various roles including distribution clerk, junior underwriter, accounting clerk and underwriter assistant.
She joined the Westland Insurance team in 2009. She is a dedicated member of the staff who appreciates our focus on client service as well as the family-like atmosphere we foster.
Outside work, Arna enjoys making crafts, gardening and travelling.
Teresa Bekker

Teresa has been the Receptionist at Westland since 2007. She has always enjoyed helping Westland’s customers who walk in our doors or on the phone. She also thrives in the family atmosphere that has been created at this brokerage.
In her spare time, you’ll find Teresa at the side of a football field where she spends countless hours volunteering for amateur football in Calgary.

Annette, who has been a broker in Calgary for 11 years, joined Westland in 2011. She is passionate about the insurance industry and finds great satisfaction helping her Westland clients choose products right for them.
Annette, who is fluently bilingual, spends most weekends with her grandkids. Her hobbies include golfing, skating and baking.

Jason has 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. As a broker, he has worked on personal auto, home, farm and commercial insurance. He has also worked with Aviva Canada as a commercial auto underwriter. In August of 2010, he joined our team at Westland Insurance – a brokerage committed to delivering the best service possible. Here, Jason is pleased to guide clients through their diverse insurance needs.
Jason, who holds his designation as a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), enjoys many activities outside of work including home renovations, golf, fishing and playing the guitar and mandolin. He is also a leader in his church community, a husband and the father of two daughters.
