MPI Autopac Renewal

Manitoba Public Insurance Autopac

Autopac is the mandatory coverage for all vehicles in Manitoba provided through Manitoba Public Insurance.

Autopac includes financial protection for the following:

loss or damage of your vehicle from insured events such as collision, upset, vandalism, theft, hail and fire.
Limited $500,000 third party liability coverage (which is not sufficient in many circumstances).
Personal Injury Protection Plan (PIPP) which provides every Manitoban with benefits in the event of injury or death, regardless of who was at fault in an accident.

A basic policy will encompass mandatory coverages. We recommend increasing coverages with the optional limits to better your coverage while out on the road.

Optional Auto Insurance

In addition to this basic, mandatory coverage, there are many extended and optional coverages that you can select from, depending on your personal situation. We always recommend that you explore options when it comes to enhancing your car insurance coverage. From lowering your deductible, increasing liability and getting enhanced wage protection coverage, you can build out the car insurance policy that reflects you and the use of your vehicle. There are also many extension and optional coverages are available from private insurance companies that we work with as well. You’ll need to register your vehicle with MPI, but you have the option to add on an auto policy from another insurance company to enhance your coverage. A benefit to auto extension policies through alternate insurance companies is that you may have optional coverage not available to you through the MPI product. Optiom

Optiom is a vehicle replacement program that helps your insurance on your new or used vehicle keep pace with the true cost of replacement. Optiom’s vehicle replacement can be looked at as an enhancement to your current comprehensive coverage through your primary insurer.
