Family Autocover Insurance Explained
As an option to increase your coverage through your ICBC car insurance policy, Westland’s Family AutoCover offers private auto coverages that may be a better fit for your life. Family AutoCover is exclusive to Westland Insurance and as a Westland client, you’re able to benefit from this private car insurance package.
What Are the Benefits of Family Autocover?
- Additional discounts for providing credit consent
- No deductible windshield chip repairs (subject to a maximum per year)
- Emergency Roadside Service
- Loss of Use (with no deductible for fire, lightning or theft)
- Increased Comprehensive deductible available
- Optional Accident Forgiveness
- Optional Excess Underinsured Motorist Protection
- Optional Replacement Cost Coverages
What Coverages Are Available Through Family Autocover?
Protection beyond the $200,000 minimum if you are deemed responsible for damages or injuries to others as a result of a crash.
Covers you or your passengers in a crash where the driver responsible doesn’t have enough coverage to pay for damages or injuries caused.
You can receive a brand-new version of your vehicle or cash payout if the car gets declared a total loss. Family offers two levels:
- Premier Replacement Cost
Available for future year models and model year 1 or 2 - Standard Replacement Cost
Available for model years 1, 2 & 3
Guaranteed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts
Pays for repairs to your vehicle regardless of who’s at fault in the crash.
Protects you from various types of damage to your vehicle that are NOT a result of a collision.
Does Westland’s Family Autocover Include 24/7 Claims Service?
You bet! Our claims team is here for you when you need us the most. If the unexpected happens and you have a claim, contact your local Westland Insurance office during standard business hours. - Unlimited Loss of Use option (for AutoPlus policies and if subcompact vehicle is accepted).
