Eligibility: Open to legal residents of British Columbia who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. To qualify participants must request a new habitational insurance quote during the contest period. Existing Westland policies that are being renewed or otherwise checked for updated pricing are not eligible. Quotes for homeowners, condominium, tenant, rental dwelling, manufactured homes, and seasonal dwellings are eligible. Employees, representatives, and agents of Westland Insurance, as well as their immediate family members and those with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to enter.
Contest Period: The contest begins at 12:01 a.m. PT on October 6, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on December 12, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).
How to Enter: Eligible individuals that complete a habitational insurance quote with a Westland Insurance advisor during the Contest Period will automatically receive one (1) entry . Limit one (1) entry per person per product quoted. Quotes completed through Westland Express are excluded from this Contest.
Prizes: There are five (5) prizes available to be won, each consisting of a $1,000 CAD Visa Gift Card (Approximate Retail Value: $1,000 CAD). Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be accepted as awarded.
Winner Selection & Notification: On December 18, 2025, five (5) eligible entries will be randomly selected in a draw conducted by Westland Insurance. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone and/or email within five (5) business days. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) business days, or fails to comply with these Rules, an alternate entrant may be selected. Selected entrants will be required, as a condition of winning a prize, to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question.
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Publicity: By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, city/province of residence, and likeness in any publicity carried out by Westland Insurance, without further compensation.
Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest, and in accordance with Westland Insurance’s Privacy Policy.
General Conditions: This Contest is governed by British Columbia law. Westland Insurance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest should fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond its control compromise the integrity of this Contest. Westland Insurance assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, or ineligible entries. This Contest is void where prohibited.
