I went to Westland Insurance for renewing my Icbc insurance in this morning without reservation. However, Sumit who works there welcomed myself with his radiant smile :) He was entirely helpful and knowledgeable! I appreciate his nice services thank you Sumit !

Last summer i dealt with westland while attempting to obtain insurance for our recreational property in the gulf islands. Ultimately, we were unsuccessful. Throughout that journey which involved obtaining quotes from 14 insurers i was ably assisted by Ms. Shiori Nakamura. In November we purchased a new small boat for use at the property so i contacted Ms. Nakamura. During the course of a short week she expedited the process with prompt email communication, completion of forms, and assisting me in responding to numerous requests for further information from the marine underwriters. Westland Insurance is fortunate to have this young woman as an employee. She exhibits characteristics rare in any service industry: industry, honesty, and conscientiousness. My thanks to her!!!

I needed to undertake a very complicated "out of province" vehicle buyout of lease, change of registration and change of province before ensuring a vehicle. Eric and Shiori were unbelievably helpful and I could not have completed this complicated series of transactions without the hard work and knowledge and positive customer service attitude of both of these excellent Westland agents. Thank you so much! I will continue to be a lifelong satisfied client of Westland to be able to work with such helpful and positive professionals.

i approached Ms Nakamura in May of 2024 with concerns about the rapid increase in the premiums for our recreational property in the gulf islands. She contacted the insurance company to try and negotiate a discount, this was unsuccessful through no fault of her own. in fact the insurance company terminated our coverage after 35 years of no claims. She then spoke with 10 other insurance companies in an attempt to obtain quotes, unfortunately none of those companies wished to insure the property. At this point i requested that she extend liability coverage from our residential policy to our recreational property which she promptly attended to. I have been very impressed with Ms. Nakamura's diligence, persistence, promptness, optimism, and courtesy. You are lucky to have an employee as exceptional as she is.
