Building ag sector connections at Alberta’s largest agriculture expos
For the second year in a row, Westland Insurance proudly participated in three of Alberta’s premier agriculture and western-lifestyle events, all held in Edmonton. Our 2025 participation was made possible through a grant from SGI CANADA . This supported our continued efforts to connect with farm, ranch, and rural communities across the Prairies.
These events brought together thousands of industry stakeholders, producers, families, and western lifestyle enthusiasts. Maintaining a strong presence allows Westland to stay connected to emerging trends and better understand the evolving needs of the agriculture sector. Alongside this, we can showcase our commitment to providing specialized insurance solutions for farm and rural clients.
Canadian Country Expo & Canadian Finals Rodeo
This fall, Westland returned as a sponsor and exhibitor at the Canadian Country Expo . This is the official trade show of the Canadian Finals Rodeo , hosted at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. The event continues to be a major gathering point for Western Canadian producers, retailers, and rodeo athletes.
Our activation space offered opportunities to speak directly with attendees about farm insurance, equipment coverage, rural business needs, and risk management. With thousands of visitors per day, the Expo continues to be an invaluable platform for raising awareness of Westland’s expertise in the agricultural sector.
Farmfair International
Westland was also on site at Farmfair International , one of Canada’s top agricultural exhibitions and the largest beef cattle show in Alberta. Our commercial and agriculture teams engaged with producers, breeders, and industry partners throughout the multi-day event.
Farmfair provides a firsthand look at innovations and priorities within livestock and agri-business. Participating for a second consecutive year strengthens our awareness of this critical sector. Furthermore, it reinforces Westland’s role as a trusted insurance partner across Canada’s farming communities.

Through SGI CANADA’s grant funding, we’re able to continue showing up where it matters. Westland does this by listening, learning, and offering expert insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of producers and rural clients.
