A new era begins with the Northern Super League Final

From the start, the Northern Super League (NSL) set out to do more than create a new league. It set out to create change, to give Canadian players a professional stage to shine, give fans a league to call their own, and bring communities together around the game they love.

Now, that vision has its ultimate symbol: the Diana B. Matheson Cup, the championship trophy that represents the highest honour in the NSL and a new era for Canadian soccer.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, that new era takes centre stage at BMO Field in Toronto as Toronto and Vancouver face off in the first-ever NSL Final. It’s the moment the league has been building toward, when the Diana B. Matheson Cup will be lifted for the very first time, marking the close of an incredible inaugural season and the start of a new Canadian soccer tradition.
