Westland wins the IBAA award for Best Large Brokerage in Alberta
We’re thrilled to announce that Westland has won the “Best Large Brokerage 2025” award for distinction in Alberta. This award was presented through the Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta!
This award was presented to the large brokerage that finds new ways to engage with their clients and leads industry best practices. Alongside this, the award recognizes brokerages that make noteworthy contributions to their community through local outreach and support. This is something Westland is especially proud of. Lastly, the award highlights brokerages that promote the growth and development of the broker channel.
With this award, Westland is honoured to celebrate the hard work of our Alberta teams. It is their diligence of taking on new skills, creating industry best practices, and connecting with the communities that they work in and live in that make us stand out. Kudos to the Alberta team for representing Westland in such a positive way!

IBAA Convention President’s Gala
Westland’s Alberta, VP Personal Insurance, Kristine Ford, accepted the award on behalf of Westland at the IBAA Convention President’s Gala and award ceremony. This was held on May 7, 2025 in Banff, AB. Thanks to our other leadership team from both AB and BC for their participation in the 2025 IBAA Convention.
