Westland Insurance enters year two of sponsorship with Ali Nullmeyer

 Partnerships

We’re thrilled to announce that Westland Insurance is once again partnering with Canadian alpine ski racer Ali Nullmeyer! This marks year two of our support of Ali as she continues to pursue excellence on the world stage.

Why we are proud to support Ali

Ali is a standout athlete, born and raised in Toronto, raised weekends skiing at Georgian Peaks Ski Club in Collingwood, Ontario, she attended Green Mountain Valley School in Vermont for high school, and made her World Cup debut in 2017 at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.

She has resiliently overcome serious injuries (including tearing both ACLs and a lateral meniscus) and rebounded to compete again at the highest level.

Her results speak to her determination:

  • 2021/22: 11th in Slalom and 45th Overall.
  • 2022/23: Ranked 11th in Slalom in the world.
  • 2023/24: Despite missing half the season due to injury, she still achieved a world rank of 22 in Slalom.

At Westland Insurance, we believe in backing ambition, perseverance, and performance. Ali embodies all three and aligns beautifully with our values of supporting Canadians who aim high.
