First Tee Million Dollar Challenge
On Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 The First Tee of Greater Vancouver YMCA will be hosting the Million Dollar Pro-Am Challenge to raise funds so that kids and teens can learn life lessons through the sport of golf. The First Tee aims to give kids the opportunity to learn the basics of golf and develop valuable life skills like leadership, teamwork, respect and responsibility. This program operates through after-school programs and various camps throughout the spring and summer to give kids the chance to play. As a charity, the YMCA is able to provide financial assistance to The First Tee so that kids can participate regardless of their ability to pay. Westland Insurance is proud to be a sponsor and a part of this tournament to assist with raising funds and providing opportunities for vulnerable kids in learning valuable skills.
