How Does Pet Insurance Work?

Pick the most suitable plan based on your budget and lifestyle. - Complete the coverage waiting period.
Certain aspects of pet insurance require a waiting period be completed prior to coverage kicking in. Accidents is 48 hours, illness is 14 days, and dental, cruciate ligament issues and IVDD is 6 months. - Submit veterinary care bills.
For any covered veterinary procedure or visit, have an authorized clinic employee complete and sign the claim form. - Reimbursement.
Your reimbursement will be applied either by cheque or direct deposit.
